According to the AC filter steady state rating model, the values of voltage and current of components of AC filter are calculated when resonance occur because the filter impedance is parallel with the AC system harmonic impedance. During the calculation, the AC system harmonic is simulated by network impedance sector and both the harmonic current contributed from converter harmonics and background harmonics should be considered. The results of calculation indicate that, the 12 th, 24 th characteristic harmonics and the 3rd non-characteristic harmonics are the main part of harmonic current, and background harmonics has significant effect on the parameters of components of AC filter.
