Method and apparatus for allocating resource in orthogonal frequency division multiple access system

A method and an apparatus for allocating resources in an OFDMA(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access) system are provided to solve a problem that a common data control channel should transfer a large amount of information up to a terminal far away from a transmitter. Multiple data control channels are received by using a base station and a particular time-frequency resource. The number of DRCHs(Distributed Resources Channels) and LRCHs(Localized Resources Channels) constituting data channels is checked through the received data control channels. The data control channels are a PDCCH(Primary Data Control Channel) and an SDCCH(Secondary Data Control Channel).
