NUMERICAL CALCULATION OF 3D STATOR FLUID FIELD FOR LARGE ELECTRICAL MACHINE AS WELL AS INFLUENCES ON THERMAL FIELD DISTRIBUTION

According to the theory of fluid mechanics,the fluid movement differential equation inside stator radial ventilation ducts is presented,and the solved region as well as boundary conditions of 3D fluid fields is given.The fluid fields are calculated and analyzed,and fluid field distribution inside radial ventilation duct is shown.At the same time,the heat transfer coefficients inside radial ventilation ducts are computed on the basis of calculation of fluid field.The mathematical model and physical model of stator 3D temperature field are established.The stator 3D temperature field is computed and the result is compared respectively with the result calculated by traditional method and tested value.
