Solving plasticity problems by a perturbation technique

The present work deals with a new technique to regularize the elastoplastic constitutive laws in the framework of the asymptotic numerical method. In this contribution, we limit ourselves to uniaxial stress train relation but the procedure is implemented also in a finite element code for plain stress case and for different work hardening laws.
