Debt Capacity and the Capital Budgeting Decision

Dr. Martin is Associate Professor of Finance at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and received his DBA from Texas Tech University. He has coauthored a number of articles appearing in Financial Management and a number of finance and economic journals. Dr. Scott is Professor of Finance at Texas Tech University and received his PhD from the University of Florida. He is the author of articles that have appeared in several journals, among them the Spring 1975 issue of Financial Management. He is past president of the Southern Finance Association and is Associate Editor of Financial Management. He was previously employed as a cost analyst with the Ford Motor Company and Massey-Ferguson, Ltd.
