Errata: `` Analysis of Several Task-Scheduling Algorithms for a Model of Multiprogramming Computer Systems''

Mr. Lewis H. Lowe, of the Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory , has discovered several errors in this paper . Although most of these were of a minor nature, he did discover a significant flaw m the proof of case 4, Theorem 4.5. The authors have dtscovered a vahd proof for case 4; unfortunately, the proof of case 7, Theorem 4.5, depended on the incorrect proof of case 4. A valid proof for case 7 has not yet emerged A bound for case 7 which has been proved is the general bound of 3 3In from Theorem 3.1.
