A guide to interfacing of plant grinding and flotation operations

Abstract The subject of inter facing plant grinding and flotation operations is addressed. Use is made of mineral distribution by size in the grinding circuit product combined with size-recovery performance of the flotation circuit. This establishes criteria for defining the economic value of the product from a grinding circuit. A case study is presented for illustration.
