Memory cleaning method and device

The invention discloses a memory cleaning method and device. The method comprises the following steps: obtaining a plurality of application processes which simultaneously run in a course that a first application process runs for multiple times; selecting parts of application processes from the plurality of application processes, wherein the parts of application processes are determined according to a running probability of each of the plurality of application processes in the course that each application process runs for multiple times; and cleaning a first memory page set corresponding to the parts of application processes. According to a technical scheme provided by the invention, memory cleaning effectiveness is enhanced, and the reaction speed of a system is improved.
