Available Transfer Capability Calculation Based on Modified Artificial Fish School Algorithm

By use of modified artificial fish school algorithm,an optimization model for available transfer capability(ATC) is built.Firstly,by means of power flow checking the problem that the artificial fish school algorithm is sensitive to its initial value is solved;then the genetic algorithm is led in to solve the prematurity of artificial fish algorithm;finally the accuracy and effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by IEEE 30-bus test system,meanwhile the problems to be solved during the application of modified artificial fish algorithm in the assessment of ATC are analyzed.
