NUMERICAL ANALYSIS AND DESIGN OPTIMIZATION OF LINING OF SUBWAY TUNNEL BY OPEN-CUT CONSTRUCTION METHOD

It is presented that the distribution of internal forces and deformations in the lining of the subway tunnel constructed by open-cut method is simulated by applying FEM software such as Ansys,and the design optimization of its cross section and conformation is discussed to utilize the capacity of structure.The results show that numerical simulation is necessary for underground design.
