Electromagnetic Imaging and Detection Technology Based on FPGA

Magnetic Induction Tomography (MIT) is a process tomography based on the principle of electromagnetic induction. In this paper, a set of 8 coil electromagnetic tomography system with working frequency of 1MHz is designed based on the systematic review of the research status and shortcomings of electromagnetic tomography technology. On the basis of the completion of the system design, the iron balls of different numbers and positions are taken as experimental objects, and the two-dimensional image of the field 40×40 pixels is inversely established by using the back-projection method and the Tikhonov regularization method, and the imaging results are analyzed. Both algorithms can perform better image reconstruction on the detection area faster.
