Research on Voltage Stability Region tangent plane of power system with Doubly-Fed Induction Generator wind farm

This paper presents a tangent plane math model of Voltage Stability Region in Power Injection Space (IVSR) considering Doubly-Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) wind farm penetration. In order to calculate these tangent plane equations of IVSR, a novel math model of DFIG is added into the power flow equations, which considers the steady state parameters of wind turbine. And then the tangent planes are constructed, which constitute the approximate boundary of IVSR. Moreover, the load parameters and sensitivities of tangent planes are calculated with different wind speed so as to analyze the change of IVSR boundary which consists of tangent planes. Finally, the conclusion can be drawn that the range and the shape of the boundary of IVSR will be changed when the wind speed is varying.
