3D Biometrics Technologies and Systems

Until now, many 3D scanning technologies have been used in 3D biometrics research field, such as structured light technique, time-of-flight method, and multi-view imaging. Each method has its own characteristics, and can be used for some specified 3D biometrics. This chapter gives an overall review of these 3D imaging technologies and their applications in biometrics.
