Saúde do trabalhador e riscos ocupacionais na mineração

Introduction: Mining activity is marked by exposure to potential illness-causing agents, posing significant threats to health. Objective: To review previous studies focusing on occupational hazards in the mining sector in order to identify the main occupational risks of the activity and its effects on the health of miners. Methods: Integrative Literature Review using Virtual Health Library and the association between Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) and the following keywords: Occupational Risks, Mining, and Mineralogy.
