Pharmaceutical compounds of the general formula and non-toxic pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, wherein R1 and R2 are selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, lower alkyl having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, lower alkoxy having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms and hydroxy lower alkyl having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and if R1 or R2 is other than hydrogen, the other substituent is hydrogen; and R3 is a member selected from the group consisting of pyridyl, phenyl, lower alkyl substituted pyridyl, lower alkoxy substituted pyridyl, lower alkyl substituted phenyl and lower alkoxy substituted phenyl, the lower alkyl and alkoxy substituents having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms. These compounds exhibit an analgesic, hyperglycemic or anti-inflammatory activity.
