A jig-saw building for sustainable energy technology

The School of the Built Environment at Nottingham University and its Head, Professor Riffat, are committed to promoting sustainable building techniques including photovoltaics, solar thermal systems and fuel cells; as a result, the school already has an established reputation for innovation and expertise in sustainable building techniques. The latest project is the most ambitious so far. The new, £2 million Institute of Sustainable Energy Technology (ISET) Sustainable Research Building will be a state-of-the art, fully-sustainable, research centre when it opens in June.
