Key Programmable Optical Networks (KPON) with OpenFlow-Based Key Distribution

Key programmable optical networks (KPON) is first proposed and designed with hierarchical software defined networks (SDN) controllers. The flowchart of key distribution based on extended OpenFlow protocol is given and verified on KPON testbed.
