Application of Wavelet Packet Denoising Method in Fault Diagnosis of Bearings

Wavelet analysis method is not effective for denoising of high-frequency fault signals of bearings since the high-frequency band can not be decomposed any more.But noise signals always exist in high frequency signals.In this paper,a new wavelet packet denoising method for bearing fault signals is put forward.Examples of numerical simulation and experiments of bearing faults diagnoses verify this new method.Results show that wavelet packet denoising method is very effective.
