Cyclostationarity-based spectrum sensing in cognitive radio

A spectrum sensing method exploiting cyclostationarity in frequency domain was proposed.This method can distinguish the types of authorized signal and unauthorized signal and gain different spectrum sharing strategy.The authorized signal and unauthorized signal were modeled to linear periodically time variant(LPTV) transformation,the method for distinguishing these two signals were given,and an approximate computation of covariance matrix for practice was derived. Simulation results show that this method can distinguish the authorized and unauthorized signals effectively at low SNR.
