디자인·기술융합의 D.I.O형 교육 시뮬레이션

The convergence type education has come into limelight, but requires various considerations and researches that aim to develop effective programs tailored to the sites. It would be necessary to apply the teaching model designed to achieve the objectives of convergence education through more aggressive activities, rather than the static convergence education currently being provided at education sites. Recently, more diverse linked education systems have been created while operating the Unlimited Imagination Room, a space for creativity and imagination, in the living space such as science hall, library, resident center, etc. The space is configured into various types such as the lab, atelier, elementary/middle/high school-linked type, story-telling type, idea club type, etc., allowing the people of all age to participate in concerned activities. As the convergence between science and technology and the convergence between humanities and art tend to take on an added importance, this researcher presented D.I.O(DO IT Ourselver) type education model based on the proposal of ideas such as the Unlimited Imagination Room or Fab Lab for the education site where the convergence education has come into the spotlight for the cultivation of talented workforce in convergence, along with the simulation of education program. This researcher intends to establish systematic education management model through constant additional research, and explore the evaluation plan, teaching methods, manpower pool creation, etc.
