Method and electronic instrument for achieving data security

The invention provides a method for achieving data security. The method is applied to an electronic instrument. The electronic instrument comprises a storage unit and a display unit, wherein data to be encrypted and file system mirror images are stored in the storage unit. The method comprises the steps that a first folder is generated and corresponds to a directory address on the storage unit; the data to be encrypted are obtained; the data to be encrypted are stored in the first folder; first root access channel service is called, and the file system mirror images are mapped to the directory address of the first folder on the storage unit on the basis of the first root access channel service. The method for achieving data security has the advantages of being high in achieving speed, few in occupied resource and the like. The invention further provides the electronic instrument for achieving data security.
