A New Microwave Discriminator

A new form of microwave FM discriminator using the technique of injection synchronization is described. Detailed theoretical and experimental results on its performance have been presented. The merits of the discriminator are: (i) tracking but with the snag of false locking, (ii) low distortion at the output, and (iii) needing only few off-the-shelve microwave components.
