High-temperature oxidation of zirconium boride in oxygen

Translated from Zh. Fiz. Khim.; 47: No. 4. 887-891(Apr 1973). The growth kinetics of oxide films on zirconium boride exposed to oxygen at high temperatures were investigated as a function of temperature and oxygen pressure. The phase composition of the scale formed on ZrB/sub 2/ under different conditions is discussed. (auth)
