Contact Deformation Analysis of the Contact Region of Roller Linear Guide

Directing an important kind of joints of the machine tool-roller linear guide,the contact stress of the contact region of it was presented.A new deformation theory model is applied to the contact area of the linear guide roller to use to calculate the deformation,then the correctness of the formula is verified by finite element analysis.And the contact deformation diagrams of the roller tangent point of the straight generator and the arc generator are also obtained by finite element contact analysis,which provide a reference to the design of corresponding rollers.
