Multiterminal source coding for correlated memoryless Gaussian sources with several side information at the decoder

We consider a separate coding system for L+1 correlated Gaussian memoryless sources. We deal with the case where the decoder wishes to reconstruct one of L+1 source outputs with an average mean squared error not exceeding a prescribed level. In this case the remaining L sources work as partial side information at the decoder for the reconstruction of the source. The determination problem of the rate-distortion region for this system has been known as a highly challenging problem. We give a partial solution to this problem by determining the rate-distortion region for a certain class of correlated sources. The result has a close relationship to our previous results.
