New image authentication algorithm with anti-JPEG compression

A new method of distilling m bits abstract from the binary information sequence with the length of n=2m-1 and a new image pre-processing method are proposed.Based on those,a new image authentication algorithm applied to more than one tampered region is proposed.Under the condition of QF340,it not only can distinguish JPEG lossy compression and malicious tampering,but also can effectively detect more than one regions which are tampered and localized the tampered areas,at the same time,it has high probability of tampering detection and lower probability of false alarm.The theory analysis and the result of emulation show that this algorithm is correct and effective.
