Work in progress: Evaluation of inter-cell interference in uplink cellular networks with Rayleigh channels

It is of great importance for service providers to evaluate the impact of inter-cell co-channel interference on the outage probability in cellular networks. In this paper, the probability density function (PDF) of interference factors limited by power control scheme is derived. Moreover, a series-form outage probability affected by the interference from Poisson-Voronoi tessellation (PVT) cellular networks over Rayleigh fading uplink channels is analyzed. Numerical results show that the outage probability decreases with the decrease of the number of interference cells and is also affected by path loss coefficient in the interference cell.
