Optimization Analyze on Reducing of Weight of Turbine wheel of J92 Turbocharger

Based on the turbine wheel of the J92 turbocharger,the hub is optimized using ANSYS of the Finite Element Analysis software while the turbine profile is not modified.While considering the casting technique,the paper determines to optimize the back structure of the turbine wheel.The weight of the turbine wheel is reduced while the rotor can response much better.The analysis on strength check and service life shows that results may meet the requirements.
