Wired/Wirless Heterogeneous Network Performance Comprehensive Evaluation

According to the performance requirements on wired/wireless heterogeneous network at industrial field, a network performance comprehensive evaluation approach based on fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) is presented. With different effects on the performance of different traffic requirements and parameters, we quantitative the network comprehensive performance, which could be a reference for network building or modification by users. The acquisition of network comprehensive performance index parameters is analyzed and the network performance comprehensive evaluation values under different circumstances are compared by using a wired/wireless heterogeneous network simulation model. The experimental results show that proposed approach based on FAHP is accurate and effective for the performance evaluation on industrial heterogeneous network.
