Vacuum freezing of clay porous material

The results of experimental measurements of a temperature distribution in a clay layer of finite thickness for a vacuum drying process are demonstrated. The results of the experiment were compared with the results of the numerical model. An incomplete correspondence between two approaches was obtained. The effect of width of the clay layer on the course of the vacuum drying process is shown.
