A Bentpipe V-Band Satellite System: Broadband Mesh Networking

Onboard satellite resources, subject to a multitude of constraints, are optimized to design a bentpipe geostationary V-band satellite system capable of providing direct broadband user-to-user connectivity. The proposed high-capacity high-power multi-beam payload architecture, with a North American coverage, can provide users with small, lowpower high-speed terminals as well as single-hop mesh networking capabilities.
