Visualization of embedded software for engine control systems

Recently automobile control programs have so many conditional branches and are too gigantic to detect the details of systems. It is critical problem that automobile control program, in particular engine control program, has unclear part of systems. So we need a new method to analyze algorithms mathematically and automatically. In this paper, we propose "visualization of software" on the perspective to analyze those gigantic codes. Now there is the preceding research, which can create map surface by applying mixed logical dynamics (MLD) systems to software. We apply this method to engine control systems, and draw "trajectory" which represents dynamics of engine parameter. Visualization of software enables us to grasp behaviors of the systems at a glance and detect some bugs.
