The invention relates to a data processing device (1) from contactless smart card, said device comprising at least one memory card reader without contact. Such a device comprises: - means to input data acquisition (2) from an input device; - means for processing at least a sequence of a transaction initiated from data from a contactless card; - selection means (3) from one mode of operation, comprising at least two states: ▪ a state, said state inactivation, wherein said processing means and said at least one memory card reader are inactive; ▪ a state, said state of activation, wherein said processing means are active and wherein input data entered through said input device are controlled by said processing means.
