A hydraulic research on architecture scenery waterfall

First of all, the flow pattern is named architecture-scenery-waterfall in this paper. A hydraulic research has been performed by experiment.Based on the experimental data,some relationships between Raynolds number Re and other hydraulic parameters of the architecture-scenery-waterfall flows,such as drag coeficient ζ,velocity coeficient φ and ratio K are obtained.For application to hydraulic calculation in engineering design,an reifferative calculation method to determine the flowrate Q is given,where a practical example is included.
