Interference cancellation in OFDM with parametric modeling of the antenna array weights

The problem of antenna array interference cancellation in an OFDM system is addressed. Joint estimation of the weight coefficients for all subcarriers is exploited. The technique is based on parametric modeling of the weights in the frequency domain. A particular linear model of the weights is proposed. The training-based and semi-blind optimization criteria and algorithms are developed. Their ability is demonstrated by simulations based on different HIPERLAN/2 propagation channels.
