Calibration of low frequency magnetic field meters using a Helmholtz coil

Abstract This paper describes the use of a Helmholtz coil as a generator of a uniform magnetic field for the calibration of low frequency magnetic field sensors. Magnetic field meters were calibrated using the coil to test its accuracy. The obtained results were then compared to the meter’s calibration sheet.
