Gender Difference of Self-Efficacy and Attitudes Towards the Use of Technology in Learning in Hong Kong Higher Education

The purpose of this study is to identify whether male students have more positive attitude and higher self-efficacy in using tablet PCs than female students. 300 questionnaires were distributed and 187 useful copies were collected. The findings show that male students do not have significantly higher self-efficacy in using tablet PCs than female students and male students do not show more positive attitude towards the use of tablet PCs in learning than female students.
