Coefficients optimization in femtocell utility function for distributed utility-based SINR adaption algorithm

The distributed utility-based SINR adaption algorithm for femtocells is a very effective algorithm which can alleviate cross-tier uplink interference. There are two kinds of coefficients in femtocell utility function, by adjusting which the system performance can be optimized. In this paper, two algorithms are proposed to get the optimal coefficients under the condition that satisfying the cellular users' QoS requirement and the percentage femtocell below the target less than a certain value. The simulation results show that both the algorithms are effective to get the coefficients and the system performance with which is optimal compared with several given fixed coefficients.
