The outage probability of multiuser cognitive MIMO system

In this paper, a framework to analyze the multi-antenna gain in multiuser cognitive radio system is presented. We consider the outage performance in the multiple-antenna flat Raleigh fading broadcast downlink channel and derive the closed-form expression of the outage probability of primary and secondary users. We show that the number of transmitter and receiver antenna impacts the outage performance of the primary and secondary user. Furthermore, the analytical and simulation results show that the multi-antenna gain improves the system performance.
