Self-Healing Capabilities in Digital Systems Thesis Summary

As present time digital systems become increasingly complex, large and fast, the probability of error and failure occurrences increases too. In the case of such systems, classical testing and repairing actions can be troublesome tasks and this has lead to the research of self-healing and self-adapting capabilities. The present paper presents different approaches for assuring correct system functioning through the use of reconfigurable systems, agents and on-line error detection.
