Statistic Analyses of Relations between Road Alignment and Road Safety

Considering the difficulty of collecting enormous data of traffic accidents,the analysis on the different sections of one road was carried out through applying the theory of before/after study.The regularity of road safety can be found out using the before/after study method with a relatively few data.In this paper,the method of statistic analysis especially about two kinds of different conditions was established.The calculation and comparison of accident probability and equations of reliability verification on the results of comparison were also developed.The relation between road alignment feature and road safety was investigated specially using the method.
