An Intra-media Multimode Wireless Communication Terminal for DSRC Service Networks

A future ITS info-communication systems using DSRC is discussed. As the first step of an inter-media multimode terminal in the future, an intramedia multimode wireless communication terminal using software defined modem technology is developed in order to adopt several DSRC service networks. The experimental software defined modem can work at a high data rate of 4 Mbps in the ?/4DQPSK. It enabled multi-modulation-system (?/4DQPSK and GMSK), multi-frame-format, and multi-bit-rate.
