Women Workers and Bureaucratic Control in Irish Electronics Factories

This chapter analyzes the relationships between management and employees in the Irish electronics industry. It is based on case-studies of two electronics factories, both of which are wholly-owned subsidiaries of US corporations and both of which employ predominantly female assembly workers.1
