Man-machine system reliability and safety model of manned spaceflight

Existing methods for the reliability and safety analysis of manned spaceflight mostly focus on the equipment failure of manned spaceflight, while there are a large number of man machine interactions which has a great influence on the system reliability and safety during the launching process of manned spaceflight. This paper firstly analyzes the task of manned spaceflight launching process, then based on the human cognitive reliability (HCR) model and encapsulation method, we establish the man-machine reliability models of the escape tower separation stage and rocket separation stage, which could describe the influence of time window pressure. After analyzing the impact of human operation on the system, the consequences are divided into “mission success”, “mission failed but the human safe” and “catastrophic”. Finally, the reliability and safety of the entire manned spaceflight system are analyzed.
