Research on composition segregation of high-carbon steel billet

This paper analyzes the grade and distribution of composition segregation of high-carbon steel. The experiments indicate that C,P and S are the elements which are prone to segregation and the highest grade of segregation occurs at the center position of billet geometrically.And also,the positive segregation is easier to occurs normally in the inner side than in the outer side and there is element fluctuation in both the two sides.
