3D perception based quality pooling on stereoscopic image

In this paper, we investigate a unique approach for characterizing the process of human 3D perception by reflecting psychological observation to quality assessment. When a human being perceives the 3D structure, the brain classifies the scene into the binocular- or monocular-vision region depending on the availability of binocular depth perception in the unit of a certain region. Furthermore, we include the 3D perception on the quality assessment, and propose a human 3D perception based stereo image quality pooling model.
