A New Method for Highway Taped Terrain Modeling

With the consideration of the characters of discrete sampling point data in highway taped terrain,the traditional method of recursive data segmentation was improved in the process of TIN generation.The interactive way of AutoCad to divide point set was used to segment point set along the highway.With Visual C++,the triangulation was accomplished.Finally,a finished DEM was output to AutoCAD environment for further application.
