A method of inverse filter design based on cepstrum measure

This paper proposes a new method to design FIR inverse filters based on cepstrum distortion measure and two auto-regression expressions. Theoretical analysis suggests that the resulted FIR inverse filter is a very good approximation to an IIR inverse filter, while its computational complexity is much lower than the conventional methods and it particularly suits to FPGA implementation. Simulation results also show that it over-performs the existing methods.
