Application of Modified Cambridge Model in Foundation Excavation

The relation of stress and stain of modified Cambridge model was analyzed by employing interface element and staff element, the excavation process and constituents of real project were simulated based on this model. With the help of numerical simulation, the surface settlement, the apophysis on the bottom of foundation and the level displacement were calculated and analyzed by using FEM program. The adaptation was proved in the soft viscosoil based on the result of computation and practice situation. Finally, the qualitative conclusions of the excavation and subsidence prediction were obtained by analyzing the calculation results.
