Illustrating method of triplet prisms for minimizing the chromatic aberration

We present an illustrating method for triplet prisms combination that can minimize the chromatic aberration. The apochromatic aberration equation, relation between relative partial dispersion and glass V-number can be quickly analyzed and found the combination.
